The two displays we are currently showing are Food Rationing and WW2 Girl Guides. These displays can either be shown individually or together.
The Girl Guide display has an astonishing range of original and rare Brownie, Girl Guide and Ranger uniforms, all with original badges. The frames show information about sixes, badges and some incredible tales of what the Browies and Guides did during WW2.
The Food Rationing display has two frames details what food was rationed and how much you got for a week, and what was off-ration. We include some interesting packaging and we can supply samples of wartime recipes.
The following are examples of the displays we used to take to event, sadly these are now unavailable. We started to collect memorabilia for our displays in 2017, we find them on eBay, antique fairs, car boots and some are given to us. We mostly use original memorabilia in our displays, however some we carefully and faithfully reproduce from photographs of originals, in fact many a cold day in the winter is spent in front of a roaring log fire making something to enhance one of our displays or thinking of new ones.
Our displays range from our huge displays to our small roving displays, but there is always something to suit any event.
